Votive candles are also called as prayer candles. These are small type white or beeswax yellow candles used as a votive offering in a religious ceremony. Scented candles are made of essential oils which are mixed with wax. There are more than hundred fragrances of essential oil. So it is easy to make scented candles on any type mixing these essential oils. You can make your own scented candles at home if you have the ingredients with you.
Floating candles are special type of candles which float in water. These types of candles can be arranged in different designs and when arranged inside glass bowl it looks pretty good. Floating candles also used for decorating centerpieces and this can be used for wedding decorations. Now floating candle kits are available so that you can make wedding decorations using these kits and this is the cheapest way to décor your weddings or special events.
Decorative candles are nothing, but candles which are decorated with flowers to add more elegance to it. These decorated candles hold an important role in décor. You can place decorated candles in your visiting room or bedroom to look your room more elegant.
Another special type of candle is aromatic candle which is filled with aroma fragrance. This is something similar to scented candles, but it gives a different feeling. The scent of aromatic candles helps to relax ones mind and mood. These are also available in different size and shape such as gel candles, votives, square, round pillars and tumbler candles.
The most important advantage of candles in wedding decorations is to cut down the cost of wedding decorations. If you want to décor it using flowers and other decor items, cost for the same would be big. For those who are on a tight budget with your wedding decorations or party decorations, there are ways to cut down the expense that they will incur on these items. Easy way is to buy decorated candles and arrange it in a way it looks good and your low cost wedding décor is ready.
